... It's not something the "paid people" do for everyone else to just passively consume. And church isn't just a building we go to either. No, the Bible is clear: Church is a body of believers professing Christ on mission together, commissioned by Jesus Himself in The Great Commission [Mt. 28:16-20] that all believers are commanded to be a part of. That's why at Ridgeline, we often remind each other that we're all The Church, members of a local body serving God and each other through our TIME, our TALENT, and our TREASURE.
There are always plenty of ways for you to plug-in, pick up a brick, and help build the wall [Neh. 4]. Below are some of the current needs we have where you can proactively dive-in with obedient faith to "get out of the cheap seats" and "Be The Church"
Develop relationships with kids, make sure they get from rotation to rotation, listen to memory verses, and lead small group discussions during weekly Wednesday evening meetings.

Plan and execute rotating game time for Sparks (K-2nd) and T&T (3rd-5th) children during weekly Wednesday evening meetings.

Maintain accurate records of recited Bible verses and book sections kids complete during weekly Wednesday evening meetings.

Coordinate, keep in touch with, and encourage small group leaders. Cubbies Directors also teach a very brief lesson (ages 3-4 yrs).

Lead rotating Sparks and T&T groups through weekly Bible studies. All lessons are provided.

Serve 1-2x / month in Kids Ministry on Sunday mornings at either service. Needs include elementary age as well as nursery.

Work with pastoral staff to manage church social media feeds, design posts, facilitate comment conversations, and oversee overall online engagement. 5-10 hrs /wk

Work with pastoral staff to coordinate Sunday morning hospitality efforts, including Cafe, greeters, and Welcome Center. 2-5 hrs / wk

Works with pastoral team to pray over prayer requests received throughout the week, provide prayer during Sunday services, and provide periodic care as needed including home and hospital visits.

Serves on Sunday mornings and various big events alongside other armed, trained, and experienced security personnel. Must provide own weapon and CCW. Periodic training available.

Works with Worship Director running sound, video, lights, and / or slides during Sunday morning services.

Works with supervising Elder and other committee members to assist in the revamping of our Missions Program.

Works as a part of Hospitality Team greeting at doors during Sunday morning services to help provide a warm, welcoming, and helpful environment.

Work with pastoral staff to help lead weekly student ministries, including small groups, studies, and events.

Works as a part of Hospitality Team at Cafe making and serving coffee, donuts and maintaining a clean, friendly environment.

Works with Facilities Team during the week to help mow lawn, edge, pull weeds, and other routine property maintenance.

Host a small group of folks in your home at least 2x / mon. and facilitate connecting and Bible study. Training and materials provided.

Work as part of the Hospitality Team to help folks find their seats in the sanctuary, greet at inner doors, and help pass out Bibles and bulletins.

Serve at one of the Denver area's premier faith-based adoption and foster care agencies by helping to organize donated clothes closet, bake freezer meals for foster families, or other office tasks.
