Sunday Services: 9AM & 10:45AM

RidgeKids

Matthew 19:14  Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”

We are excited for Children’s Ministry!  Because we have to limit class size, we need to have you sign up for their classes.  Please read all the information, so you are aware of everything you need to know and so that everything possible can be done to keep our classrooms safe for your children.

We love your children, but for the safety of all, please do not bring your children to class if they have had any type of symptoms(i.e. fever, cold, green runny nose, cough etc.) 48 hours prior to the service. This is without any type of medication. Thank you!  We are taking extra measures to disinfect the rooms and toys between hours.

Please try to arrive as close to 8:05, 9:35 and 11:05 am as possible.  We are going to preprint as many of the name tags and security tags as possible before people begin to arrive on Sunday morning, so there won’t be as many people touching the check in computers.  We have also implemented a new check in system with our church management system, CCB.  It is pretty simple but we feel at this time limited touching is best.

After you pick up your child’s name tag, you will take them directly to their classrooms.

Here at Ridgeline, we believe that children are a gift from God!

Jesus loves children and told His disciples to “let them come to me.” We want to love children in the same way that Jesus loves them.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Sunday morning classes are designed to teach children Biblical truths through a variety of avenues. Our goal is to help children develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and come to an understanding of how to live their lives for Him.

Elementary classes are different each hour so if parents choose to be in an adult class, children are not duplicating what they learn. We take our call to partner with families in the training of your children in the Lord very seriously. We believe that by working together we can help your children grow and develop in their faith.

Curriculum

Toddlers and Preschool – Children are learning from a curriculum that was written by one of our staff members in conjunction with the God Loves Me curriculum. This curriculum takes them all the way from Genesis through the life of Paul during a two year period.

Kindergarten through 4th grade – The kids are learning from the Gospel Project or the Books of the Bible curriculum by Lifeway Kids.

Kindergarten through 4th grade – The kids are going through Books of the Bible using the Explore the Bible curriculum by Lifeway.

5th and 6th Grade – Kids meet only during the 9:00 hour and attend Church with their parents during the 10:45 service. The curriculum that is being used is the Answers in Genesis, published by Answers in Genesis.

Awana

Awana club meets Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 pm.  Please click on the link at the top of the page for more information.

Volunteers
Our volunteers love the Lord and love children.  They are dedicated to teaching the children Bible Truths.

All of our adult volunteers have received background screening and reference checks.

We have ongoing training for our teachers, many are CPR and First Aid certified.

Safety
The safety of children is very important to us.

Ridgekids Children are provided with a name tag with a unique code for your family.

Parents are asked to present their security number to the teacher when picking up your child.
